It
is also advisable to leave children at home - kids
no matter how much you love them get bored and a
tattoo studio is not an ideal environment for children
to be bored in.
Turn
your mobile phone off - nothing is worse for a tattooist
when he or she are concentrating on a tattoo for
the customer to be fumbling around trying to answer
their phone - plus who wants to share a one way
conversation?
If,
prior to your appointment, you wish to change your
design in anyway - ring and let the tattooist know.
Do
not go and get tattooed if you are drunk - stoned
- tripping, or out of it.
If
you are a smoker only smoke in the studio if it
is permitted.
If
you have a medical condition (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy,
heart condition etc.) let the artist know before
undergoing tattooing.
Eat
before getting tattooed - try and not be nervous
- if you feel faint let the artist know - don't
suffer in silence.
Think
about the clothing you are going to wear before
being tattooed - whites and light colours aren't
too sensible - also make sure you can expose the
area you want tattooed without being embarrassed.
Lastly,
tattooists prefer working on nice clean people -
so don't ignore personal hygiene.
